The McCloud River may be famous for a pure strain of Rainbow and for its planting around the world. But the McCloud has a population of Browns that are also impressive.

Caught 13 Rainbows and a big Brown up to 20"
Flies Used: Beaded Prince Nymph #14; Beaded Micro Mayfly #18; Beaded Pheasant Tail Frostbite #16; Rubber leg Copper John #16; Red Larva #16 (thin); Deep Red Egg Pattern #16.
Other Details: Fished areas below the dam, near Ah Di Nah campground, and areas near Ash Camp.
