Maine Fishing Report: Kennebec River August 17th, 2009

I had the Lynch family aboard today 08/17/09 for a morning striper fishing trip...we got the skunk off within 5 minutes of leaving the dock...we then hit a lull in the action picking up 1-2 Striped Bass & a Sturgeon in the next hour. Around high water slack...the Stripers turned on and we boated another 10 fish or so in a very short time....we left them biting which was very tough for me to do...but my party insisted that they wanted to end on a high note....I think that the cold beers waiting for them back at the dock might have had something to do with it!!! I'll have the Lynch family back aboard on Wed & Fri...really looking forward to it
