The Problem with Christmas...

Do you know the problem with Christmas? WAITING!!!!!

Every morning about 10:00 a brown truck pulls up to the driveway. The driver steps out, opens his overhead door and loads up his hand truck with boxes. Boxes that say, "Simms, Sage, Rio, Hareline, Spirit River, etc, etc. Once the boxes are open the real work begins. INVENTORY. Each and every item needs to be sorted, labeled, scanned into inventory and repackaged.

Every day the phone rings and the conversation goes something like this,
"Good morning Westslope Fly shop."
"Yeah hello... where are you guys located?"
"We're in the River Walk building... but we're not officially open yet..."
"Oh... Ok thanks."

We're tired of waiting to open the doors. We want to show off our awesome new space. We believe it is going to be the best shop design and location in the region. Things are progressing nicely. The custom steel and glass walls are being installed now, the office and nearly 300 square foot classroom space are being remodeled and John is fabricating the free standing displays.

We would love to predict a day for our opening but there's still a lot to do. Our exterior sign will be up by the end of the week so you will be able to find us. There have been a lot of sleepless nights... A lot of anticipation for what is to come. And all we can say is that we're as ready as you are for the shop to open.

Like I said, the worst part of Christmas is the waiting.
