Caught 6 Rainbow Trout up to 12"
Effective Flies: #12 Prince Nymph and #16 BH Copper John (copper)
Summary: Fished the "fly fishing only" section of the Trinity River in Lewiston with my dad. We only fished for a couple hours. It was very hot. Water was clear and cold. Saw some very large salmon.
I caught 6 rainbow trout using a #12 Prince Nymph and a #16 Copper John (copper wrap). Hinged indicator nymphing with an AB splitshot. The fish were small, up to 12 inches.
Great afternoon of fishing.
